Storybook Ballet School

Experience the magical and enchanting world of ballet!

Our Storybook Ballet program is designed specifically for 3 & 4 year olds. Ideal for fledgling dancers yearning to experience the world of ballet. We plant the seed for a lifelong love of ballet while developing skills in coordination, concentration, and following instruction. With the imaginative use of props, movement games, and creative movement exercises, our youngest dancers learn age appropriate ballet skills and feel in their heart they are truly beautiful dancers!

Each session is a simple flat rate, with no additional fees. Our longer Fall and Spring sessions include a final performance and a recital tutu to keep! Our sessions allow dancers to explore ballet in smaller bites, perfect for the busy youngster who likes to try everything... or the returning young dancer who can't dance enough! Once dancers turn age 5, advancement into the 9 month training program is recommended.

*To enroll, dancers must already be 3 and potty trained.

Helpful tips

If you have a shy kiddo, you may be more comfortable in a morning time slot where the studio is quiet and it is not full of the after school buzz.

If you are jumping into kindergarten and adjusting to that big change, a Storybook session may be appropriate for your family, even for a 5 year old, especially if your child needs a lot of down time.

Sometimes it doesn't look pretty! Every now and then a parent will be worried that their dancer isn't "getting it." Not to worry! Fundamentals of ballet take years to perfect and the important thing is your dancer feels beautiful and secure enough to try her best.

Friends and siblings in the same class may be super convenient, but may not always be the best thing. Sometimes it works, sometimes it really doesn't!

There is a big difference between 3 & 4 year olds in development, but older, more experienced dancers step up to lead the group. It is SO good for their heart, when they are able to finally grow into a leadership role. Even if your dancer has completed a full session, coming back for another session works really well as there is always something new to grasp.

POTTY TRAINED DANCERS ARE A MUST.
